MEET TOM & JACK
We’re Tom Mottershead and Jack Barclay, two Brisbane-based singer songwriters who love telling stories through music. The journey began when a friend from church asked Tom to write a surprise song for his wedding. When it was played on the day and the bride realised the lyrics were telling their story, there were tears, knowing smiles and a moment no one in the room will forget.
Today Tom and Jack write custom wedding songs that capture the story behind each couple’s relationship. Together we have created songs for dozens of weddings across Australia and beyond. Between us we’ve had multiple national radio placements, Tom’s own music has reached over 1 million streams worldwide, while Jack’s heartfelt vocals and distinctive percussive guitar style were recognised by The Courier Mail in their article “Destined for Songwriting Fame”.

Every song we (Tom & Jack) create is written and recorded from scratch and tailored to your story. Couples use their songs in many ways: walking down the aisle, first dance, surprise gift, anniversary, or part of a speech or video. For many couples, this becomes the emotional highlight of their day.
We offer a range of options, from simple acoustic arrangements to cinematic productions with additional keepsake elements. Flexible payment plans starting from $200 AUD per month. Occasionally we also offer shorter 2-minute versions when studio availability allows. Each song is a keepsake you’ll treasure long after the wedding day.
